At Oldroyd Publishing Group Ltd we are committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, respectful and professional environment for our staff, clients, contractors, suppliers and visitors. In line with UK employment law, we have a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual harassment, bullying or discrimination of any kind.

This commitment applies equally to our workplace, phone calls, emails, digital communication channels and work-related social events. Harassment does not need to happen face to face to be harmful.

Prohibited Conduct

We strictly prohibit any unwelcome behaviour of a sexual nature that violates an individual's dignity or creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading or offensive environment. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Unwanted physical contact or encroachment on personal space.
  • Suggestive remarks, intrusive questioning or inappropriate jokes, regardless of whether they are framed as "workplace banter."
  • Offensive remarks, comments, text messages, emails, emojis or digital media sent via company or personal devices; both written and verbal.

Third-Party Protection (Clients, Contractors, Suppliers & Visitors)

We value our professional business relationships. However our duty of care extends to protecting our team from harassment by anyone outside the business.

  • We expect all clients, contractors, suppliers and visitors to treat our staff with professional courtesy.
  • If anyone outside the business uses inappropriate, sexually suggestive or abusive language over the phone or in an email, our staff are fully authorised to end the communication immediately.
  • We reserve the right to terminate business relationships with any third party that breaches this standard.

Reporting Concerns

For staff: We want every member of our team to feel safe speaking up. If anyone experiences or witnesses any behaviour that breaches this statement, it should be reported directly to the Personnel Manager. All reports will be treated with the utmost seriousness and discretion, investigated immediately and are fully protected under UK whistleblowing legislation.

For Third Parties: If you believe you have been harassed by one of our team, please contact the Personnel Manager so we can initiate an immediate, formal investigation.

We thank all our staff, clients, contractors, suppliers and visitors for helping us maintain the supportive, respectful culture we have here at OPG Ltd.
